We all remember when LeBron James went on ESPN and announced one of if the biggest decision in sports over the last ten years. He was scrutinized over his “decision” for weeks after to go to Miami and join Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh to form the so called “Big Three.” When I watched the show over the summer I asked. Why in the world he would announce something like this so publicly? What kind of affects would it have in Cleveland? How will he be treated when he goes back to Cleveland?
Little did James know that once everyone in Cleveland listened what he said it would be his downfall as “The King.” Following the show Dan Gilbert, owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers wrote a letter to the fans and stated that "I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER 'KING' WINS ONE"
